Blind murder: Army official shot dead
Family sources claim the officer had called his brother-in-law to inform him that he was in trouble.

An army official was shot dead under mysterious circumstances in Mansehra on Friday evening.
Police sources while talking to The Express Tribune said unidentified assailants shot Tafseer Ahmed, an official of Pakistan army, in the head in his village Karer. Ahmed was reported to be on leave from duty.
Family sources claimed that Ahmed had called his brother-in-law to inform him that he was in trouble. Sensing danger, Ahmed’s last words were to request his relative to take care of his family, before the phone line disconnected, the sources said.
After learning of the incident, local residents shifted Ahmed’s body to a hospital and informed the area police, who have registered a blind murder case following an autopsy.
Ahmed’s body was handed over to his family after which he was laid to rest in the presence of army officials.
