LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge directed a station house officer on Saturday to record a petitioner’s statement who is seeking a case against a man who allegedly obtained money to get people government jobs by impersonating the Punjab Amn Committee coordinator.

Petitioner Nagina Bibi submitted that she had met Gujrat’s Mian Waseem who introduced himself as the PAC coordinator and said he had good relations with Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif who had asked him to recruit 500 people in police, WASA, LDA and other departments.

She said she gave Waseem over Rs1,000,000 which collected them from several people. She said he neither provided any jobs nor returned the money.

She said she then visited the Green Town SHO who turned a deaf ear to her complaint. She prayed to the court to direct the SHO to register a case against Waseem.
