Judo: Inter-University championship begins
The athletes will contest in 40kg, 44kg, 48kg, 52kg, 57Kg, 63kg and 70kg categories in the open weight event.

The second Inter-University Judo Women Championship will begin today at the Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad with the collaboration of the Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) and Higher Education Commission, featuring 130 athletes from 12 teams. The athletes will contest in 40kg, 44kg, 48kg, 52kg, 57Kg, 63kg and 70kg categories in the open weight event. According to the PJF, the championship being held at a nationwide level will not only help in creating healthy competition among the judokas but would also serve as a talent-hunt event.
