According to the Article 62, an individual cannot be qualified to be the member of Parliament unless he is an honest and loyal citizen of Pakistan and is enrolled as a voter in any electoral roll. However, Article 63 says that any member of Parliament can be disqualified if he ceases to be a citizen of Pakistan, or acquires the citizenship of a foreign state and has been convicted by a court.
Article 63 and 63 are binding only for parliament member, ECP member Shehzad Akbar said.
He further added that constitution does not constrain caretaker PM from having a dual nationality.
