Shooting: Navy shooters shine at national event

The Navy team swept major events yesterday after bagging three gold medals on the fourth day of the National Shooting Championship, underway at the Navy Shooting Range. They opened the day with a gold medal in the air rifle (women) competition followed by Army and Sindh who clinched the silver and bronze medal, respectively. The 50 metre pistol team event also went to the sea men with Army and PAF securing the silver and bronze. Navy then secured the premier medal in the double trap overcoming Army and PAF who finished second and third, respectively.
