Bird-watching: PM inaugurates CDA Aviary
According to CDA aviary, which is spread over 3.8 acres, consists of 1,200 different species of birds.

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf formally inaugurated the Bird Aviary at Lake View Park in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The aviary, which is spread over 3.8 acres, consists of 1,200 different species of birds including parrots, pigeons, partridges, swans and ducks, according to a Capital Development Authority (CDA) press release. The collection also includes 65 rare species of birds.
PM Ashraf visited different sections of the aviary after its inauguration and suggested the CDA plan more recreational facilities for residents and visitors of the federal capital.
The aviary is equipped with a bird watching tower, a pond and a small dispensary that ensures the birds stay healthy, while the CDA has also established a souvenir shop. Chairman CDA Syed Tahir Shahbaz, Member Environment Kazim Niaz, Member Engineering, Sanaullah Aman and other officers were also present at the inauguration.
