Defaulting MPA: MPA’s PA membership suspended
Justice Malik suspended Khichi’s membership on a petition moved by Imran Khan, the losing candidate.

Justice Ayesha Malik of the Lahore High Court on Wednesday extended the suspension of Khan Muhammad Khichi’s Provincial Assembly membership till March 19. Khichi had been elected from PP-239 Vehari in the recent by-polls. Justice Malik had suspended Khichi’s membership on a petition moved by Imran Khan, the losing candidate. Advocate Ahsan Bhoon submitted that Khichi had defaulted on a Rs12 million loan from a bank and had not disclosed that in his nomination papers. He said Khichi did not fit the constitutional criteria and should be disqualified.
