Entrepreneurship workshop: Promoting triple helix innovation in Pakistan
Workshop held to stress on the role of entrepreneurship in Pakistan.

The Economics Department of GC University Lahore, in collaboration with Entrepreneurial Development and Advisory Services (EDAS) Pakistan, organised a one-day seminar on the “Role of educational institutions in entrepreneurship ecosystems on Monday.
According to a press release issued by the National University of Sciences and Technology, Almas Hyder, CEO if SPEL Group and a founding member of EDAS, introduced the topic of the seminar and spoke about the need to bridge the gap between industry and academia to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in Pakistan.
He stressed the role of government as a facilitator of knowledge-based interaction between the university and business so that research and ideas could flow seamlessly and become economic value by means of the market.
