The National Party on Sunday condemned the alleged operation in Balochistan, deeming it a violation of the ‘chadar and chaardiwari’.

Addressing a press conference, member of the party’s Central Committee Nawab Muhammad Khan Shahwani said that an operation should be held against terrorists and not against innocent citizens of the country.

He demanded the governor of the province order an investigation into the matter, adding that whosoever is found guilty should be dealt with an iron hand.

Expressing his views on the upcoming elections, he said that the party might form an alliance with Balochistan National Party-M for the next polls. He added that the party had boycotted the previous elections but this time round they will urge all the parties in the province to be part of the elections and play their positive role in Balochistan’s development.
