RAWALPINDI:

Some 1,500 under-privileged children from the Christian community who attend afternoon coaching classes to help them catch up in school could not concentrate on their studies because they were disturbed by the incident in Badami Bagh, Lahore, according to a press release.

The children, from various missionary schools in the city, expressed solidarity for the people who lost their homes in the unfortunate incident in which a mob burnt down homes and pray for a more tolerant Pakistan.

Instigated by a man who alleged that a Christian had made blasphemous remarks, the mob set fire to homes and forced residents to flee.
