Clashes: Peace volunteer killed, five injured

Members of the banned outfit led by Mangal Bagh attacked TI volunteers in the early hours of Friday, says Khan.

LANDIKOTAL: At least one volunteer of the pro government militia Touheedul Islam (TI) was killed while five others were injured in clashes with Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) in Khyber Agency’s Landikotal tehsil on Friday. Swalzar Khan, an official of the levies force, said members of the banned outfit led by Mangal Bagh attacked TI volunteers in the early hours of Friday. Khan added members of the TI buried the dead volunteer in Kata Kanray after the clash ended. Those injured in the skirmish were shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital in Peshawar.
