Rangers conduct targeted operation in Lyari
Rangers detain six terror suspects and rescue four abductees during the operation in Lyari.

Rangers detained six terror suspects and recovered four abductees during a targeted operation in Lyari and Pak Colony on Thursday, reported Express News.
As the operation started, Rangers blocked around 20 entry and exit points to the targeted areas. Several commandos, armoured vehicles, motorcycle scouts and women officials took part in the operation.
Apart from detaining six terror suspects rangers also discovered the torture cell of Shiraz Comrade in Moosa lane. Rangers recovered four people, who had been kidnapped, from the torture cell.
According to sources, certain elements also opened fire at the Rangers as they were trying to enter the area.
Later during the day, when the Rangers left the area, residents started protests and gunmen resorted to firing. The National Highway was blocked as a result.
Due to the sudden recurrence of unrest, Police and rangers forces were called back to the area.
The operation took place hours after bodies of two kidnapped personnel were recovered from the Mewa Shah graveyard in Karachi.
The two kidnapped officials, Hawaldar Muneer Ahmed Bhutto and Aijaz Ahmed Baloch, belonged to the intelligence wing of Sindh Rangers and were abducted on Wednesday.
Rangers officials said that both the men were in civilian clothes when abducted. The men had been last seen in Nazimabad area.
A total of nine people were killed in Karachi during the day in separate incidents of violence.
