Landslide: Two killed, one injured

“The victim miraculously survived but is critically injured,” says a police official.

Two women were killed and one injured after being buried in landslide at Kulyari village on Tuesday.


Police said they were informed about the disappearance of three women in Natu area along the outskirts of the village.

According to family sources, the women had gone to dig mud from the mounds in the area to plaster on the lawn of their houses but did not return.

Upon search, the police and some locals recovered two bodies and one injured woman.

“The victim miraculously survived but is critically injured,” a police official told The Express Tribune.

The deceased were identified as Taja Bibi, 18, wife of Bacha Khan and Aqal Mena, 22, wife of Shahid Khan. Meanwhile the injured Bakht Ranha, wife of Sher Alam, was taken to the Dagar Headquarters Hospital in critical condition.
