The body of a watchman who went missing five days back was found in an underground water tank of a residential apartment in Ratta Amral.
According to the police, the body of Rajab Ali Khan, 45, was recovered from a water tank in Wazir Plaza.
The victim had no money in his wallet and his motorbike was also missing. Khan, who lived with his wife and daughter in same building, was last seen on Wednesday with a young man who had been staying with his family for nine years.
Police officer Asghar Shaheen, who is investigating the case, quoted the wife of the deceased as saying the young man, Salman, along with an unidentified person, had come to her house to meet her husband when she last saw them. Police have registered a murder case and started investigation.
