Energy: Gas project inaugurated in Sargodha

The federal government has spend Rs500 million on electricity supply schemes in the constituency, says Qureshi.

SARGODHA: A natural gas project was inaugurated in Chak Rakh Dhrema on Tuesday. The ceremony was presided over by Minister of State for Water and Power Tasneem Ahmad Qureshi. Addressing the event, Qureshi said that during the five-year government, the federal government had spent Rs2.5 billion on gas supply projects and Rs500 million on electricity supply schemes in the constituency. He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party believed in power of the masses and had always come to power through the people’s vote. Khaliq Dad Padhyar, Malik Hamid Nawaz Awan and Mian Amjad Javed were also present.
