Hockey: Indo-Pak bilateral series schedule released

National team set to tour neighbours next month.

KARACHI:
The eagerly awaited bilateral series between Pakistan and India has been confirmed as the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) announced the schedule of  the series which will be held in two phases next month.

According to a PHF media statement, the greenshirts will first travel to India for a five-match series while India will begin their return trip a week after the first leg.


The first leg will be played from April 5 to 15 with Ranchi, Lucknow, New Delhi, Mohali and Jalandhar announced as host venues. India will play in Karachi, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Lahore from April 23 to May 2

The development came following talks between top PHF  and Hockey India officials on the sidelines of a recent Asian Hockey Federation meeting in Kuala Lumpur.
