Better attitude : Police taking courses on behaviour
The crime rate have fallen by 33 per cent compared to the previous year, says DIG.

Operations DIG Muhammad Tahir Rai on Sunday said media should play an active role to prevent crimes. The police had launched instructive programmes to help policemen modify their behaviour and attitude towards people, said the DIG. The crime rate had fallen by 33 per cent compared to the previous year, he said. Special courts would be established to deal with cases to be tried on fast-track basis, he said.
