Pollution: Notices issued to factories, shops
Notices demand that proper arrangements be made to stop environmental pollution.
FAISALABAD:
The Environment Protection Department has issued notices to a number of factories and shops responsible for polluting the city environment. Environment DDO Farhat Abbas Kamoka said the department has issued over a dozen notices to marble and wood cutting industries as well as tyre, meat and welding shops. He said the notices demand that proper arrangements be made to stop environmental pollution. Strict action would be taken against those who do not take appropriate measures and act soon, he said.
