Unabated Crime: Thieves break locks on 14 shops

Thieves made off with valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees after breaking the locks on 14 shops in the Rajkot Bazaar on Friday night.
On Saturday morning, the shopkeepers blocked the Alipur Bypass for several hours in protest against the police’s refusal their complaints. Dhalai SHO Ahmed Sajjad Cheema said the thefts were not as heavy as claimed by the shopkeepers. He said he would move as per law.
