Corruption: Tehsildar and sub-inspector to be arrested

Judge Abdul Mustafa Nadeem ordered that Hayat should appear before the court by March 11.

An anti corruption judge on Saturday issued arrest warrants for a tehsildar and a sub-inspector for not appearing before the court.


According to the prosecution, Rao Muhammad Hanif, a resident of Dunyapur, had submitted in an application alleging that Tehsildar Sheikh Aamir Hayat had received a Rs150,000 bribe from him to register transfer of land he had purchased.

Judge Abdul Mustafa Nadeem ordered that Hayat should appear before the court by March 11. In another case, the judge issued arrest warrants for Sub-Inspector Shaukat Ali who also did not appear before the court.
