Explosion: FC official injured in blast
FC officials were patrolling the area around 7:00am when an IED planted on the roadside went off, informs Nasir Khan.

A Frontier Constabulary (FC) official was injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unidentified militants exploded in Sheen Qamer area of Bara, Khyber Agency on Saturday.
Assistant Political Agent Nasir Khan said FC officials were patrolling the area around 7:00am when an IED planted on the roadside went off, injuring Naib Khan.
He said authorities rushed to the site and launched a search operation soon after the incident. However, no arrests had been made till the filing of this report.
The bomb’s weight could not be ascertained due to the absence of the bomb disposal squad.
A van was partially damaged as a result of the blast’s impact, added Khan.
The wounded FC official was shifted to Combined Military Hospital, Peshawar where his condition was said to be stable.
