The Karachi Electric Supply Company was awarded the ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Award 2012’ at the National Pakistan Corporate Social Responsibility Awards - 2012, held on February 28.
The awards recognised KESC for its on-going commitment towards investment that is socially and environmentally sustainable. A 12-member panel of experts chose 19 companies out of 104 companies. “This much awaited ceremony is the culmination of six laborious months to pick out the most responsible businesses,” said Corporate Social Responsibility Association of Pakistan director Beenish Umer.
