Let's make-up!: Caramelise this!
Unleash your inner Jennifer Lopez or Jesssica Alba, bringing out the beautiful honey tones in our skin.
KARACHI:
Everyone should know how to do a heavenly caramel coloured make-up look. Guaranteed to unleash your inner Jennifer Lopez or Jesssica Alba, bringing out the beautiful honey tones in our skin is a fail safe every girl should fall back on to.
The key to success is to pick a few important areas that should be highlighted and be strong about it!
1. Add a little gold shimmer to your face powder. This will ensure you get an all over diva look.
2. After that, take a swipe of gold eye shadow and run it along the bridge of your nose and the top of your cheekbone. Guaranteed gilded goddess look!
3. Eyes
Step 1:
Use a warm terracotta shade for the medium in your socket line.
Step 2:
Use a soft gold on your lid, be it sparkly, shimmery or glowy. (You should sweep this on to your brow bone and inner Vas well).
Step 3:
Use a warm brown to create your corner.
Step 4:
Line your eye, add tones of kajal and lashings of mascara.
4. Use a warm honey coloured lipstick on your lips and dab a tiny bit of gold shadow in the centre of your top and lower lips. This will give you a super sun kissed look.
5. Don’t forget to shimmer every inch of your flesh that is going to show. Beyonce famously smashes a brick of Bobbi Brown shimmer and mixes it in to a spray bottle with some baby oil. She then spritzes this all over her body to give her that flawless shine!
Products:
Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights in “Dusk”
This brilliant set of stripes ensures that you have every brown at your finger tips. Use each stripe individually or swirl together for a warm honeyed hue. Brilliant!
Catrice Absolute eye shadow in 080 “Help! I am stranded”
Locally available, this German brand delivers on the pigment front in a big way. One of the BEST browns I have ever used, this shadow gets wet beautifully and can double up as a great brown eye liner as well!
