IBA’s advertising competition: Marketing club to host Cornetto Adwar 2013

Competition aims to offer bright youth a chance to interact and network with some creative minds in Pakistani media.

The IBA Marketing Club is organising its annual ADWAR competition - based on creating small theme-based videos revolving around a certain brand and its essence - in collaboration with Cornetto this year.


Starting out in 2010, it partnered with KFC and then in 2012 in partnered with Omore.

The competition aims to bring the brightest minds from the youth together and to offer them a chance to interact and network with some of the most creative minds in the Pakistani media as well as learn the tact, art and science behind the making of every advertisement.


For the theme-based advertisement/video of under four minutes for the Cornetto Adwar, students will follow the concept of continuity and relishing a journey - a multitude of moments.



Students of all ages can register by submitting the video on the ADWAR website, www.adwars.pk, by March 13. The brief for the video is also available on the website.

The competition will be carried out in three phases. Prize money of Rs20,000 will be given to the most liked video, Rs100,000 to the winners of the first prize, Rs50,000 for second prize and Rs30,000 for the third position.
