Imran Farooq’s death
I hope that Scotland Yard will arrest the killer or killers soon and bring them to justice.
KARACHI:
This is in reference to MQM leader Imran Farooq’s murder in London on September 16. Cameras are installed all over London and it is likely that those who murdered him will sooner or later be arrested by the police. Dr Farooq’s death is sad news not only for the MQM but for all political leaders, especially since it gives clear indication that a Pakistani politician is not safe even in a foreign country.
I hope that Scotland Yard will arrest the killer or killers soon and bring them to justice. In any case, the federal government should take this matter up officially with the British government.
