Local polls: Hyderabad Gymkhana elects members
Members of Hyderabad Gymkhana re-elect Javed Iqbal and some members of his panel.

HYDERABAD:
Members of Hyderabad Gymkhana have re-elected Javed Iqbal Junejo and some members of his panel in the 2013 to 2014 elections held on Sunday.
Junejo secured 1,398 votes, beating his opponent, Dr Agha Taj Muhammad, by 423 votes. Haji Nisar Memon, a member of Muhammad’s group, was elected as the honorary secretary with 1,237 votes and Dr Shams Shaikh, from Junejo group, was elected as honorary treasurer with 1,252 votes. Eleven members of the managing committee were also elected, including Sajid Ali Bhutto, Dr Muhammad Bashir Nizamani and Azam Ismail.
