Indian police arrest man suspected of passing on intelligence information to the ISI in Pakistan.
The 35-year-old man is accused of passing on details of the exercises held by the Indian Air Force on Friday in the western desert state of Rajasthan near the Indian border with Pakistan, senior state police officer DS Dinkar told AFP.
Dinkar identified the man as an Indian national called Sumaar Khan and said he was allegedly spying for Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence, "passing information related to Indian defence installations and military activities".
Police alleged the man used mobile phones and Internet to transmit information but did not say when he was arrested.
NDTV reported that Khan was arrested from his home in Pokhran on Sunday morning, following interception of his calls to Pakistan.
The report further stated that he frequently traveled to Pakistan and is alleged to have passed on documents pertaining to the Indian defence structure.

Another vivid demonstration of India's "Pakistan" obsession. Their spies and terrorist agents are wreaking havoc in Pakistan, and the Pakistani government is releasing Indian prisioner one after the other, while for Indian government calling someone in Pakistan is an act of espionage! Pakistan's curse is to have a neighbor like India.
@kHaN: Come now. Don't make stuff up. How exactly is "internet messaging" taped or monitored, especially since location can be disguised fairly easily on the internet? How many emails and instant messages would a spy agency read? Not too convinced ALL phone calls would be monitored either.
But I wonder, why didn't they just get blackberry's and bbm their espionage....
Would a foreign intelligence operative really use internet and mobile to pass on such intel? Even a child knows that all calls/Internet messaging from India to Pakistan and vice versa are taped.
