Rugby: Army, Islamabad win as PRL begins

Army bounced back in the final session, courtesy of their forwards, who gave them a 12-8 win in the end.

Army came from behind to overcome Lahore Rugby Football Club after a closely contested match in the 15-a-side Premier Rugby League (PRL) that kicked off yesterday in Lahore. Army had a shaky start with their opponents taking honours in the first half with a 3-0 lead. However, Army bounced back in the final session, courtesy of their forwards, who gave them a 12-8 win in the end. Meanwhile, an experienced Islamabad outfit enjoyed a comfortable opening win, thrashing the young DHA Lahore outfit 46-0 in second match of the day.
