Woman, four children missing

A woman and her four children went missing from their house in the Airport area of Rawalpindi on Friday. Iftikhar Ahmed lodged a report with the police that unidentified persons abducted his wife and four children from his house during the day.


He had last seen them when he went to work in the morning. When he came home in the evening, they were all gone. The police registered a case against unidentified persons but no arrests have been made yet.

Meanwhile, Malik Yousaf lodged a report with the same police that four armed robbers broke into his house in Gulzar-e-Quaid on Friday and held the inmates hostage. They tied up the inmates with ropes and made away with cash, jewellery and other valuables.

Amjad Hussain lodged a complaint with the police that thieves entered his house in Airport Housing Society and took away Rs40,000, 45,000 Saudi Riyals, prize bonds worth Rs40,000, jewellery, a laptop and valuables.
