Football: Pakistan U-13 team to play in Iran

The Pakistan under-13 football team is set to participate in Iran next month at the Asian Football Festival.
From the squad, seven out of the 11 players were shortlisted from Sindh.
The Sindh team, consisting of under-13 players mainly from Lyari, defeated Balochistan in the final of the National Under-13 Championship on Tuesday.
According to team officials, these young players will begin their careers at the national level with the support of different departments who will help them groom their talent.
“These players come from very humble backgrounds, and they will get paid for just playing football,” said the official.
“It will help these players stick to the sport.
The Pakistan Football Federation is investing in the development of the under-13 players so they can be a part of the national team in the future.”
