India confirm participation for next month’s event.
KARACHI:
The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation’s (PBSF) efforts to hold a peace cup with India here finally bore fruitful results as they received the confirmation from their rivals yesterday.
The series between the two countries is likely to be held from March 7-10 in Karachi. The PBSF has already applied for the necessary Non-Objection Certificate from the Pakistan Sports Board through the Sports Ministry (Inter Provincial Coordination) and the Ministry of Interior. Meanwhile, the PBSF Executive Committee has also decided to send world champion Muhammad Asif for extensive coaching at the WPBSA Asian Academy in Thailand in June.
