Accident: ASF officer killed at Sukkur airport

The officer was wounded when he hit the propeller while disembarking from a trainer plane.

SUKKUR: The assistant director of the Airport Security Force (ASF) at Shaheed Benazirabad airport was killed in an accident at Sukkur airport on Thursday evening.

Brigadier Tanveer Ahmed disembarked Cessna trainer plane at Sukkur airport in the evening when he accidentally hit the propeller and was wounded.

He was rushed to Civil Hospital, Sukkur, where he died. His body has been sent to Karachi.

ASF officials at Sukkur airport were unavailable for comments, however, an airport officer confirmed that a death took place without revealing the identity.
