PESHAWAR: One person was killed while seventeen were injured in a blast in a mobile market in Peshawar, Express News reported on Thursday.
The blast took place in Hasht Nagri area under a flyover. Security officials and rescue workers reached the area and the injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital. One of the victims is in critical state.
According to the AIG Bomb disposal squad Shafqat Malik said that blast took place through the traditional remote control bomb. The bomb used two kilograms of explosives and ball bearings.
The blast destroyed 10 shops in the busy mobile market.
