Bollywood actor Kajol Devgn showed up at the Star Dance Academy’s Annual Function in December 2012 looking more like a nun than a diva who ruled the Indian film industry for more than a decade. Sorry Kajol — no points for this look.

Hair
She wore her hair down with big curls at the end. Although it’s neatly combed back, it’s just not doing any wonders for her with the high-neck blouse. A high up-do would have been nice.
Outfit
Kajol must have attended a church ceremony before arriving at the awards. Her satin white blouse should have been a bit more fitted on the waist. And what appears to be a purse-size perfume bottle is actually a brooch! We wonder who she borrowed that long and unflattering black skirt from?
Make-up
She still shines beautifully with her flawless golden skin, but please Kajol, it’s time you do your eyebrows. With the gorgeous eyes you have, it’s just not attractive to have bushy brows. It’s also time to whiten that smile.
Accessories
Thank you for not wearing any earrings. And we still can’t take our eyes off that hideous brooch pin. Unlike the title of Kajol’s 2001 film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, it was all sadness after seeing this look.
Shoes
Although we can’t see her shoes, it wouldn’t be a surprise if she was wearing long white socks with black converse shoes. Fingers crossed.
Wore it better
Allison Janney
Kajol needs to take some notes from American actor Allison Janney who wore the black-and white combo brilliantly at the NBC Golden Globe Awards in 2003. With a fitted-collared shirt and a long black skirt that complemented her shape, Janney looked smokin’ hot. Her choice of subtle long, pearly earrings and a red silk clutch that matched the design on her skirt was fabulous.
Jayma Mays
Actor-singer Jayma Mays attended the Unicef Ball in 2011 wearing a long-sleeved, skin-tight black blouse with a long white pleated skirt. Mays chose to accessorise her outfit with dangling green-and-gold earrings and a couple of rings. We love the red lipstick that brightened up her entire look! Please send your stylist to Kajol.
Uma Thurman
American actor-model Uma Thurman attended the 2011 LACMA Art and Film Gala in a Lanvin ensemble. She wore a white silk blouse with pleated shoulders and a long black silk skirt with a trail in the back. We loved everything about her look from her up-do and dangling earrings to her red lip colour and black clutch.
