Fire breaks out at private hospital in Karachi

KARACHI:
A fire broke out in National Medical Centre near Kala Pul in Karachi on Tuesday, reported Express News.

Rescue officials smashed windows to evacuate patients as the fire reached the second floor of the building. The cause of the fire remains unknown.


Several people inside the hospital fainted due to the smoke.

On September 11 last year, a garment factory in Karachi caught fire resulting in the deaths of over 250 workers.

All accused in the Baldia factory fire case, including the factory owners, have been awarded bail by the Sindh High Court.
