Crime: Kidnapped man’s body found in canal
Resident of Camp 3, was picked from Satellite Town allegedly by brothers of a girl he was having an affair with.

The body of a man kidnapped on February 14 was found from the Upper Chennab Canal on Monday. Police said Raees, a resident of Camp 3, was picked from Satellite Town allegedly by brothers of a girl he was having an affair with. He was murdered and his body abandoned in the canal, they said. On Monday, some passers-by noticed the body floating in the water and informed the police. On identification, Raees’s parents were called to the police station. They filed a complaint against the girl’s brothers, Abu Bakar and Usman, who the police said were at large. Police have arrested the girl and her mother.
