Kuri road: Five activists of banned outfit arrested
SHO said the activists of HuT had organised a seminar and displayed banners inscribed with anti-state slogans

Police and officials of intelligence agencies in a joint raid at a house on Kuri Road, Rawalpindi, and arrested five activists of a banned outfit, Hizbut-Tahrir (HuT) on Sunday.
SHO Sadiqabad Police Station Allah Yar said the activists of HuT had organised a seminar and displayed banners inscribed with anti-state slogans and were also distributing brochures with messages based on similar sentiments among the people.
He said the participants of seminar were giving speeches against the government and the armed forces. He said the police also arrested Chairman Central Contract Committee Saad Jigranwi.
He said cases have been registered against them.
