The event is being organised by the IIC in collaboration with FOMMA Trust of Pakistan.

DELHI:
A week-long exhibition of literary books and magazines from Pakistan opened on Thursday in the art gallery of the Indian International Centre (IIC) in the Indian capital.

The event is being organised by the IIC in collaboration with FOMMA Trust of Pakistan.

There are more than 70 titles published by prominent Pakistani publishers.

All books and magazines will be contributed to IIC library at the end of the exhibition.

The head of the FOMMA Trust, Zulfiqar Ali Lakhani, said in his message that the exhibition will introduce Pakistani literature, poets and artists to Indian readers.

He said that FOMMA Trust will hold an exhibition of Indian books and magazines in early 2014.

He said that devising a method for exchange and availability of books to the readers of the neighbouring countries is the need of the hour.
