The district and sessions court in Malir convicted a man, Gul Bahadur, of robbery and of firing at the police, and sentenced him to five years in prison on Wednesday.
A fine of Rs10,000 was also imposed on him. Second senior civil judge, Sikander Ameer Pahore, pronounced Bahadur of being guilty of looting cash and a motorcycle from Faqeer Muhammad, on April 4, 2011, near a petrol station in Sherpao Colony.
