BB murder case: Court orders ATC to investigate
FIA submitted the petition, court accepted it and asked Anti-terrorism court to take immediate action.

The Rawalpindi High Court division bench has ordered that the hearing of Benazir Bhutto murder case start from February 19 on daily basis, Express News reported.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) submitted the petition regarding hearing of the Benazir Bhutto murder case to Rawalpindi High Court, asking the local Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) to take immediate action.
The ATC was asked to decide the case within three months. Lawyers of the accused were also been ordered to take this hearing as top priority.
The five accused, namely Aitzaz Sherazi, Abdul Rasheed Turabi, Sher Zaman, Rafaqat Hussain and Hassnain Gul have been detained in Adiala Jail over charges of involvement in the suicide attack that killed the former prime minister in 2007.
The Rawalpindi court expressed their anger on the slow moving case and mentioned that despite six years of constant hearings, justice had not prevailed.
Earlier on January 5, a Rawalpindi court had previously rejected a request for daily hearings on the case to speed up the judicial process. But now the Rawalpindi High court has directed the ATC to take this case on an urgent priority basis.
Benazir was assassinated in a deadly terrorist attack in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007 after addressing a political rally.
