LAHORE:
The Punjab lab’s forensic report revealed that Kamran Faisal was subjected to violence before he died, Express News reported on Wednesday.

The report compiled by the forensic experts further stated that no intoxicant was found in his body.

Faisal was found hanging from a ceiling fan in a government hostel on January 18, three days after the Supreme Court ordered Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf’s arrest over a long-running scandal into the Rental Power Plants. Faisal was a part of the investigation.

The forensic report was sent to the Islamabad Police, while the investigators are still examining the finger prints found from the crime scene.

The initial findings of an autopsy said Faisal committed suicide, but his family and some of his colleagues believe he was murdered. Forensic experts exhumed the body to determine the nature of his death.
