CHAKWAL:
Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf, Imran Khan  on Sunday called on President Asif Ali Zardari to explain where he had earned the money to build the "lavish 120 kanal" Bilawal House in Lahore, reported Express News.

Imran Khan was addressing a congregation in Chakwal.

While criticising President Asif Ali Zardari, Imran Khan questioned, “Where did he [Zardari] get the money to build Bilawal House? How much tax did he pay? Why doesn’t he give details to the public about it?”

He accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) of secretly allying as "fake enemies" for the upcoming elections.

"This is the reason why these parties are not making any effort in making the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) independent," Khan said.

The PTI Chairman reiterated that he had full confidence in Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim but had doubts regarding other members of the commission.

He further said that 70% of current parliamentarians are tax evaders.

Khan said corruption had resulted in every new born in Pakistan being Rs80,000 in debt, whereas five years back this amount was at Rs35,000.
