The Sindh chapter of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) elected new members in intra-party elections held on Thursday, shortly after the election commission’s announcement that they were a pre-requisite for all parties wishing to participate in the general elections.

The party members voted in a 15-member provincial executive and a 110-member provincial committee to remain in power for the next three years. PkMAP’s Central general secretary Akram Shah reminded the committee members of their responsibilities to the Pashtun community in Karachi. Nazir Jan Khan, who hailed from Battagram, was elected president, while Sabrin Khan Chagharzai was chosen as the party’s general secretary.
