Explosion: Girls school blown up
Around 10 kilogrammes of explosives were used in the blast, says BDS official.

Government Girls High School Mombaty, Barakzai was severely damaged when a bomb planted by unidentified militants exploded in the jurisdiction of Miryan police station a little after midnight on Friday. Malik Salimur Rehman, a former nazim of the area, said locals heard a loud blast after which they rushed to the site and found the girls’ school badly damaged. An official of the Bomb Disposal Squad said around 10 kilogrammes of explosives were used in the blast, which caused panic in the area.
