Names for Khyber Agency Aman jirga finalised: Afridi

The Chairman IPO-Pakistan and Member National Assembly from FATA Hameedullah Jan Afridi told a delegation of tribals from the Khyber Agency on Thursday that the names of Aman Jirga members have been finalised.
Afridi told the delegation that the Jirga would call on Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor among other government high-ups to start peace dialogues and restore normalcy in disturbed areas of FATA.
The MNA said that regardless of the financial crunch in the country, adequate development funds had been spent on development schemes to bring Khyber Agency, Bara at par with developed areas of the country.
Delegation members spoke of the miseries that IDPs face in camps including shortage of food and other related facilities.
Afridi assured that the matter has been already taken up with the concerned authorities and it has been reiterated that ration quota may be increased in accordance with the number of IDPs.
