Two doctors have been dismissed from service and a report against five doctors and four paramedics has been sent to the health secretary for not attending a meeting held to review the polio campaign here. On Monday, the Health Department called an emergency meeting to discuss the campaign. The meeting was attended by officials from other departments as well. EDO Dr Azhar Masood Bhatti said that District Health Officer Dr Atiya Mubarik and Dr Usman were dismissed. He said a report against Dr Arshad Hameed, Dr Rizwan, Dr Memoona Naz, Dr Ahmed Raza and four paramedical staff had been sent to the health secretary.
