Ghotki police on Monday registered a case against three men for allegedly kidnapping and torturing a Hindu teenager in Shahi Bazaar a day earlier.
A*, 15, was allegedly kidnapped by Ali Gul Mirani and his accomplices, and taken to an abandoned house near Shahi Bazaar on Sunday. The culprits tried to sexually assault the boy, but beat him up when he screamed for help. One of the accused reportedly bit the boy’s ear, and then fled along with his companions.
The residents reached the house later and shifted the boy to the taluka hospital, where doctors stitched the wound and then discharged him.
Ghotki’s “A” section police registered a case against Mirani and two other unidentified men on the complaint of the boy’s father. However, no arrests had been made till the filing of this report.
The boy’s father said that A was on his way home after purchasing groceries from the market, when Mirani and two other men kidnapped him on gunpoint and took him to an abandoned house nearby.
