KARACHI:
National team captain Jaffar Khan expressed discontent after the Pakistan Football Federation called up seven overseas Pakistani players to the camp that began on January 28.
“For us the overseas players are important,” Jaffar told The Express Tribune. “But personally I feel that we should only have one or two of them because then there is no point of us playing league football in Pakistan if the local talent is brushed aside for the foreign-groomed players.”
Pakistan will take on Nepal tomorrow in a friendly match in Kathmandu after the team left for their back-to-back tour to Nepal and Maldives yesterday.
