Tennis: Zubair clinches under-18 Cup title
Talha Zubair clinches the title by defeating Mohammad Mudasir 4-6,6-3,6-3 in the final.

Fifth-seeded Talha Zubair clinched the Boys under-18 Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Masters Cup title yesterday, defeating Mohammad Mudasir 4-6,6-3,6-3 in the final after conceding the first set. He bounced back to win the tournament and bagged Rs8,000 along with the medal.
In the under-14 category, top seed Nofil Kaleem continued his fine form, defeating Mohammad Muzamil 6-4, 6-2 to win the juniors title in the tournament. With the win, Kaleem took away Rs6,000 and a gold medal, while Muzammil received Rs4,000.
This was the first PTF Juniors Masters Cup, whereas earlier PTF had also organised the Masters Cup for the top eight men’s singles players in the country.
