Crime: Body found; man booked for rape
A woman was found dead and another sexually assaulted in different areas of Taxila, during the last 24 hours.

A woman was found dead and another sexually assaulted in different areas of Taxila, during the last 24 hours. In the first incident, body of an elderly woman was recovered from a junkyard in Chachi Mohalla. A passerby spotted the body, said a police official. According to preliminary investigation, the woman was in her fifties and looked like a gypsy. Meanwhile, a man was booked for allegedly raping a woman after abducting her. Safia Naz* lodged a complaint with the police that Nawaz Khan* intercepted her on her way home, took her to a house where he raped her.
